Back to School!

If you are going back to high school, or moving away to college, you know that a BIG priority is the back-to-school wardrobe.  The perfect jeans, the super cute tees, and great little dresses to wear to football games.  Back-to-school shopping is the best!

Okay, so you aren't in school anymore.  Maybe the memory of high school graduation is growing dim and you have lost touch with a lot of your college besties.  There is no reason to deny yourself the irrestible urge to do a little back-to-school shopping.  It is a comforting activity, like eating macaroni and cheese in the winter or napping on a rainy afternoon.  It brings back those good childhood memories and makes you smile!

Transition Dressing

 Today is August 5, which reminds me that it is time to start transitioning the closet from Summer into Fall.  The easiest way to achieve a great transition look, is to change the color palette of your wardrobe - but don't change the lightweight fabrics!  It is still quite warm in most of the country, so we need to wear cool fabrics.

First Beija-Boutique to Open in Plaza Suite in Greenville

Beija-Flor jeans wholesaler finds perfect fit for new boutique in downtown Greenville

Fans of Beija-Flor Jeans will soon have access to the company’s entire denim line through one local retailer.

Greenville-based Beija-Flor plans to debut its first retail store, Beija-Boutique, next month in the existing Plaza Suite store in downtown Greenville.

It will be the company’s flagship store, giving the owners/designers Kathy Moca and her daughter, Emilie Whitaker, the opportunity to showcase the entire Beija-Flor line of jeans in every style and size.

Beija-Flor jeans are currently sold wholesale and can be found in more than 250 boutiques across the United States.

Shop Plaza Suite Featured in Talk Greenville

Each summer, it seems that I have some sort of fashion dilemma that keeps my mind occupied for months after the season is over. Last summer it was this Caribbean blue knit dress with a drop waist, just the right length and halter neckline that I literally stumbled into on King Street. It spoke to me and I needed it. I marched back to the dressing area and could hardly wait to wear it. As I put it on, it felt perfect. The lines were so flattering on the dress. The length was just right, and then it happened.
